Scopriamo insieme l’altare della Pace di Augusto

In occasione delle Giornate Europee del Patrimonio 2021, il Museo dell’Ara Pacis rimette al centro della propria proposta didattica i bambini e le loro famiglie. L’appuntamento - il 25 e 26 settembre – è con una passeggiata guidata alla scoperta del monumento e, a seguire, con un laboratorio ideato per conoscere insieme, con occhi e mani curiosi, piante e animali che abitano il vivace apparato decorativo dell’Ara Pacis. 

Per l’occasione il museo lancia il progetto “Che Storia! L’Ara Pacis si racconta”, una serie di video rivolti a tutti, ma proprio tutti i bambini, per avvicinarsi con divertimento alla storia dell’altare dedicato da Augusto alla Pace, uno dei monumenti meglio conservati della Roma antica. 

Nel corso dei due appuntamenti, l’interprete LIS presente nel video fornirà la traduzione simultanea in LIS per i bambini sordi, grazie alla collaborazione del Dipartimento Politiche Sociali (Direzione Benessere e Salute) e della cooperativa sociale onlus Segni di Integrazione–Lazio.

domenica settembre dalle ore 11.00 alle ore 12.30.

For the European Heritage Days 2021, on September, 25th and 26th, Ara Pacis Augustae Museum puts children and their families back at the center of its educational proposal. The appointment is to share a guided walk discovering the monument and then joining a workshop: through curious eyes and hands, we will together find out plants and animals inhabiting Ara Pacis Augustae. vibrant decorative apparatus.

Just for this occasion, the museum is launching the project "Che Storia! L'Ara Pacis si racconta". This series of videos is really dedicated to all children. With a funny approach they are going to tell the history of the altar dedicated by Roman Senate to Peace guaranteed by the first emperor, one of the best preserved monuments of ancient Rome.

During the two appointments, just the same LIS interpreter in the video will provide simultaneous translation in LIS for deaf children. The initiative is possible thanks to the collaboration with Roma Capitale - Dipartimento Politiche Sociali (Direzione benessere e salute) and the non-profit social cooperative ‘Segni di Integrazione-Lazio’.
