Description
The GRADE mid-project meeting was held on the 30th October 2006 in the Brenda Moon Suit at the Main Library University of Edinburgh, George Square. It was a full meeting of the GRADE Partners and all of the Pilot Site representatives. It was an opportunity to present on some of the GRADE project deliverables to date, in particular the legal framework for GRADE and Institutional vs media-centric repository choices, and also to summarize project findings and progress to date. The afternoon was spent discussing the way forward for data repositories within JISC-IE, and in discussing the components needed for the development of a National Geospatial Repository.
