As part of the JISC Digital Preservation and Curation Programme, EDINA received funding for the PECAN Phase II project to develop tools and processes to ensure post-cancellation access to journal content. The PECAN Phase 2 Final Report highlights the findings and outcomes of the project and our recommendations for further activity. A separate Data Report further describes our activity, focusing on our investigations around data supply and conversations with library users. JISC funded a separate and parallel strand of activity led by JISC Collections, who focused on the data collection and verification process (where verification means that both publishers and subscribing institutions agree on the extent of entitlement and the rights granted). The JISC Collections Post-Cancellation Entitlement Registry Scoping Project Final Report is also available. The team would like to thank all of the institutions involved in this initiative for their participation. Comments and requests for further information should be directed to edina@ed.ac.uk.
