Work has commenced on the EU-funded EuroGeoNames project, to implement multi-lingual geographical names data held nationally across Europe. EDINA is involved in developing the conceptual database model, the application schema and in implementing this across a selection of European national mapping and Cadastral Agencies. EGN runs for 30 months from September 2006.
