Boundary Types Listed by Country

There are four tables below, one each for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The UK Data Service Census Support datasets in each are divided into categories, as they are in The UK Data Service Census Support Boundary Data Selector download interface (Administrative, Census, Electoral, Environmental, Health, Historic, Postal, Other Regional Boundaries). Note that in UK Data Service Census Support, datasets dating from 1971 onwards are considered as contemporary data. Any datasets pre-dating 1971 are listed in the 'Historic' category. So if you are looking for Census boundaries from before 1971 (for example), look in the 'Historic' Category rather than the 'Census' category.
